Last summer, Artist Felice Varini turned the mountainous Swiss village of Vercorin into a wide reaching work of art. While the town’s traditional architecture is a thing of beauty in itself, his installation of Cercle et Suite D’éclats transformed it with contemporary creativity. Using geometric formulas and precise measurement, Varini covered the town with carefully placed metallic paint. If a viewer stands in one exact vantage point, the village is perfectly painted with circles spanning its width. Stand from any other perspective, you’ll miss the entire amazing point of Felice Varini’s art. [todayandtomorrow via core77] View in gallery
