Still just a student, papercraft artist Wataru Itou is talented far beyond his years. His latest exhibition, the “Castle on the Ocean” is a stunning work of paper architecture, a small scale world created with paper, precision and patience. Itou’s “Castle” includes lofty geometric spires, a ferris wheel, roller coasters and a brilliant array of lights throughout. Having covered quite a bit of papercraft art in our day, it’s easy to say that Itou has quickly become one of the best in his field.
